Horizon Visa Debit Card

Our Horizon Visa Debit Card serves you in two ways:

1. Pick up quick cash at any automated teller machine (ATM) that has the Star or Cirrus emblem (The Peoples Bank ATMs are located inside Dillons, 1108 E. First Street in Pratt, KS, The Peoples Bank Drive-in, 120 S. Ninnescah in Pratt, KS, The Peoples Bank building at 136 S Main in Smith Center, KS, The Peoples Bank building at 102 S. Oak in Greensburg, KS and Dark's Landing,137 W. Avenue C in Attica, KS), and
2. Replace check writing at Point of Sale (POS) terminals in businesses such as Dillons.

You can electronically access your account through a world wide network of ATMs and POS terminals with your Horizon Visa Debit Card. You may also use your Horizon Visa Debit Card at other local Pratt banks and local BankMate serviced locations.

Belle works 24 hours a day to provide you with information on accounts such as balances, specific check clearance, and direct deposits. BELLE can also assist you in Transferring Funds and Mastercard Information. BELLE will cheerfully greet you and ask for your account number and P.I.N. Notary Services

A Notary is an individual legally empowered to witness signatures and certify a document's validity. A Notary's signature acknowledges that the instrument presented is the free and voluntary act of the party executing it and the signatures on the document are genuine.

Overdraft Protection

One returned check or insufficient funds check can play havoc with a checking account. Enroll in our Overdraft Protection Plan to automatically transfers funds from your savings or MasterCard account should the need arise.

ACH - Direct Deposit

Your payroll or social security check could be automatically deposited into your account by contacting your business or by filling out a simple form.

Safe Deposit Boxes

For your added safety of important documents and personal belongings, we offer a variety of sizes of safe deposit boxes. A discount is granted to customers who allow the bank to automatically charge their account each year for the box fee. Safe Deposit Boxes are available at our Pratt, Hardtner, Medicine Lodge, Smith Center and Lebanon, Kansas offices.

Night Depository

The Peoples Bank Night Depository Service is a secure, quick, and convenient way to make after-hour deposits into your accounts. The Peoples Bank Night Depository is available for use 24-hours-a-day, allowing you to make any deposit at your own convenience. Night Depository is available at each of our locations, excluding our Dillons in-store office located in Pratt.

Escrow Services

As an escrow agent, The Peoples Bank acts as a neutral third party by safekeeping monies in situations where an independent third party is needed. The escrow funds are held until the terms of the contractual obligations (usually between two other parties) are fulfilled. The Peoples Bank will contract for deed sales, depositing escrow funds in an FDIC-insured account. They will then release escrow proceeds according to the terms of the escrow agreement.

Wire Transfers

Domestic incoming and outgoing transfers can be initiated on your behalf. The deadline to send a wire transfer is 2:00 p.m. Information needed to send a wire transfer is:

• Receiving Financial Institution's 9 digit Routing and Transit Number
• The name of the financial institution receiving the wire
• Location of the receiving institution including city and state
• Receiver's name and account number
• Amount of transfer

The Peoples Bank can also receive wire transfers for deposit to your account. Please call the wire transfer department at (620) 672-5611 for wiring instructions.

Savings Bond Services

• Purchase directly from the U. S. Treasury
• Set up and manage an account
• Obtain information about savings bonds you already own
• Forms are available at The Peoples Bank Smith Center office to purchase or redeem savings bonds

Kan-Charge

Kan-Charge is a receivable processing program offered by The Peoples Bank. Kan-Charge allows you to turn your accounts into cash. The program is flexible and you select your clientele. The Bank handles the statement processing and collection effort. Your time and funds are free to invest in other parts of your business.
